"EX-DRY" is a high-performance desiccant (moisture absorber) that serves as an alternative to inorganic adsorbent desiccants such as silica gel. Due to its high moisture absorption capacity, it solves humidity-related issues such as rust, mold, and condensation across various industries. ◆Examples of adoption in the apparel industry◆ □Objective: Preventing mold on clothing imported from overseas sewing factories □Concern: Silica gel and anti-mold agents are used to prevent mold on clothing, but the effectiveness of silica gel is weak and hard to perceive. Anti-mold agents emit a distinct odor that adheres to the clothing. □Solution: When packaging clothing together in cartons, inexpensive PE film is used for wrapping, and one EX-DRY is placed inside the film. By sealing it and enclosing it in the carton, mold prevention during importation is possible without using desiccants or anti-mold agents for each individual product.
