Installation of single passage rotor seal - rotary joint
Generally, rotor seals are mounted on the end face of the shaft.
The shaft has a passage for fluid to flow through at the center of the shaft, and a drilled hole that intersects it at a right angle.
basic information
Please be careful to ensure that the rotation axis center of the rotor seal and the axis center of the rotating shaft member minimize the runout of the rotor seal. To accommodate this eccentricity, always use a flexible hose between the rotor seal and the supply port. If fixed piping is used, excessive force will be applied to the bearings of the rotor seal. Do not connect the flexible hose in a straight line; instead, use a 45° elbow or similar fittings. To prevent damage to the seal or bearings, the connection of the flexible hose should be attached to the rotor seal. Additionally, please use a union fitting at the supply port. ◆◇◆ For more details, please request materials or download the catalog ◆◇◆
