Introducing a case study of a web application developed for field engineers to utilize when maintaining equipment primarily consisting of industrial boilers!
We would like to introduce a case study on the development of "Online Maintenance" for Miura Industrial Co., Ltd., a manufacturing company. The online maintenance application, introduced in 1989, had its display items and functions added over the years, leading to a complex UI. It became difficult to operate, and there were voices within the company expressing dissatisfaction with its usability. To ensure that even young field engineers found it easy to understand and use, we directly gathered feedback from the field and redesigned the UI and system from scratch.
