The FG series is a moisture-absorbing air breather that contains granular silica gel to remove moisture from the air passing through it. In addition to preventing contamination ingress, this moisture-absorbing air breather removes humidity that can cause condensation and mix with water in transformer oil, lubricating oil, and hydraulic oil tanks. Generally, moisture mixed with oil promotes the growth of bacteria within the tank and accelerates the oxidation of the oil due to bacteria. By removing moisture from the tank, the growth of bacteria is suppressed, maintaining the quality of lubricating and hydraulic oils, which leads to stable operation of the equipment.
