[Successful Case of Water Treatment] Solving water supply issues for small islands where securing water sources is difficult.
Improving the quality of drinking water and the quantity of raw water! Introducing successful cases of water treatment using PCI membranes.
We would like to introduce a case study of a small island with a population of about 100 people, located 30 miles northeast of Shetland, the northernmost point of Scotland, where a solution for water supply was achieved. Considering the delicate environmental background, we explored ways to improve both the quality of drinking water and the quantity of available raw water to overcome the shortcomings of the existing system. It was recognized that rainwater collection tanks were insufficient to ensure the necessary safety, so we decided to drill groundwater extraction wells to enhance this water source. [Case Overview] ■ Location: Small islands where securing water sources is difficult ■ Problem: Remote location requiring consideration of a delicate environmental background ■ Improvement Measures - Improve both the quality of drinking water and the quantity of available raw water - Drill groundwater extraction wells to enhance the water source *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
