The Model 4807A accelerometer is a gas-damped accelerometer that uses advanced semiconductor piezoresistive MEMS sensor elements, providing an excellent dynamic range and stability. It features specifications that minimize noise to the extreme, with measurement ranges selectable from ±2g to ±200g. It is also suitable for measuring small accelerations in the microg range, where the signal-to-noise ratio is significant. Additionally, it achieves an optimal damping coefficient for low g specifications. It includes a patented remote auto-zero function and offers a voltage mode output with high sensitivity of up to 1000mV/g.
