Heat exchangers (plate type, tube type) require regular cleaning because sludge adheres to their surfaces over time, reducing thermal conductivity. By applying a fluoropolymer coating to impart non-adhesive properties, we were able to reduce cleaning time to 2-3 hours, making it easy to remove sludge.
