[Construction Example] Reflectix Installation for ISOWA Corporation
The predicted necessary cooling load of 1,815 kW can be handled with just 200 kW of existing cooling equipment!
At ISOWA Co., Ltd., there was an existing 200kW air conditioning unit in the slate-roofed factory, but during the summer, the temperature inside the factory sometimes exceeded 40°C. As a measure against heatstroke, we were considering the installation of additional air conditioning units. Therefore, we introduced a cover construction using Reflectix that could be implemented while the factory was in operation. As a result, by applying heat-insulating cover work to 5,000m2 of roof and 2,000m2 of wall, the required cooling load (equipment capacity) was 1,815kW, but it became sufficiently cool and comfortable with just the existing 200kW air conditioning unit. 【Implementation Effects】 - Successful repairs to the factory and measures against heat and cold, reduction of electricity and kerosene usage, heatstroke prevention, and improvement of productivity. - The indoor temperature dropped by approximately 8°C compared to the condition with the slate roof. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
