We are pleased to announce that the vulcanized fiber from Hokuetsu Toyo Fiber Co., Ltd. (located in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture), one of our main materials, has been certified under the "Fuji City CNF Brand Certification (6th Term)" in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture. This product is one of the cellulose nanofiber materials created by chemically treating 100% pulp paper to disintegrate cellulose at the nano level and bond it strongly. It is biodegradable and can be considered an environmentally friendly material. In today's context where "plastic reduction" is being sought, it is a material that is gaining attention as an alternative to plastic. At Fujidenki Co., Ltd., we handle everything from cutting, punching, and machining of this product to delivery in our own factory. Compared to polyamide, polycarbonate, rigid PVC, and Bakelite, it features high tensile strength and arc resistance. It also has good workability, capable of accommodating a wide range of processing methods such as cutting, drilling, punching, threading, flat grinding, bending, bonding, and deep drawing. Here are reference values for representative fiber products that we handle extensively. ■ General Fiber Product Name: HB-77 Manufacturer: Hokuetsu Toyo Fiber Standard Colors: Red, Natural, White, Black Standard Thickness: 0.25 to 2.4 mm Flame Retardancy: UL94HB certified for thicknesses of 0.8 mm and above Arc Resistance: 120 to 140 seconds ■ Heat-Resistant and Water-Resistant Fiber Product Name: K-57 Manufacturer: Hokuetsu Toyo Fiber Standard Color: Natural Standard Thickness: 0.5 to 2.4 mm Water Absorption Rate (1 hour): 10% or less (compliant with the 1-hour water absorption rate electrical safety standard) Flame Retardancy: UL94HB certified for thicknesses of 0.8 mm and above Arc Resistance: 130 to 140 seconds *There are also higher grades with improved temperature resistance.
