This valve is ideal for use with high-purity fluids in high airtightness and high durability applications.
This is a so-called packless valve that uses a metal diaphragm for the external seal (a sealing method in the gland section that completely prevents fluid leakage by using a bellows or diaphragm instead of a gland packing or other methods). In addition to the high airtightness characteristic of conventional packless valves, it also offers high durability and is free of dead space, making it an ideal valve for use with high-purity fluids.

What is a valve in the first place? A valve is a general term for devices that have a "mechanism" to open and close the passage of fluids (a collective term for gases and liquids) to allow, stop, or throttle the flow of those fluids. When modifiers indicating usage, form, or type are added, the term "tap" may be used.
