The "Air Bearing Cylinder" is an air cylinder that employs air bearings in the rod guide section. Since there is no contact between the rod and the guide, there is no sliding resistance. This lack of resistance allows for soft-touch precision driving at micro-loads and low speeds. It can output to targeted values, making it suitable for applications that require precise load control, such as precision grinding machines. - By adopting air bearings for the piston rod and guide section, there is no friction resistance as it strokes non-contact. - The use of porous metal sintered air bearings provides higher lateral rigidity compared to conventional products. - Lower consumption flow rate compared to other air bearing types such as orifice types (orifice types can also be manufactured). - Standard lineup from Φ10 to Φ100. Special adaptations available up to Φ190. - Two types of operation: single-acting extrusion type and double-acting type. - Custom manufacturing for special specifications to meet customer requirements is possible. - Cleanroom compatibility is also available. 【NEW】 - Air bearing cylinder "Rotational Constraint Specification (Double-Acting Type)" → Improved quality, reduced defects, high durability. - Air bearing cylinder "Copper Ion-Free Type" → Can be used in environments free of copper ions as it does not contain copper materials. Suitable for use in environments that dislike conductivity (battery manufacturing). Heat-resistant and can be used in high-temperature environments (ceramic sintered body).
