To achieve optimal film-forming properties, film characteristics, and film durability, we track and precisely control the hydrolysis and condensation reactions of metal alkoxides using measurements such as kinematic viscosity, particle size distribution, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR). This control technology enables the synthesis of sol particles with single nanosized microparticles for certain metal species. Additionally, leveraging the know-how of reaction factors obtained from years of research, we can design optimal processes for stable production, which is a significant strength. The nanosized metal oxide sol particles synthesized using our sol synthesis technology are characterized by high transparency due to their highly dispersed nature with minimal aggregation or precipitation. It is possible to form transparent and uniform thin films on substrates where transparency is emphasized, with thicknesses on the order of several tens of nanometers.
