[Case Study] Multiplexer System "D2000" Series

Aggregate the signal lines of multiple instruments to simplify wiring! It is possible to consolidate 16 channels of instruments into Modbus format.

This is an introduction to a case study that adopted the multiplexer system "D2000" series for the purpose of sending multiple instrument information in Modbus format at hazardous locations. In facilities with explosion-proof areas, there was a challenge where installing signal lines for multiple instruments complicated the wiring. By multiplexing the signals from multiple instruments, it is now possible to transmit them over a two-wire cable. By aggregating with a multiplexer, the wiring is simplified, and it can be expanded to a maximum of 256 analog channels per system. [Case Overview] ■ Challenge: Installing signal lines for multiple instruments complicated the wiring ■ Reason for Adoption: It is possible to multiplex the signals from multiple instruments and transmit them over a two-wire cable ■ Solution: Simplifying the wiring by aggregating the signal lines of multiple instruments with a multiplexer ■ Result: Expandable to a maximum of 256 analog channels per system *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
