Nano fiber "Cellulose Nanofiber (CNF)"

Lightweight and strong! Nanofibers with performance approaching that of carbon fibers! For weight reduction in automotive and aircraft components.

"Cellulose nanofiber (nano cellulose)" is a type of nanofiber that is one-fifth the weight of steel and has a strength 7 to 8 times greater, with a width of 4 to 20 nm. Its coefficient of linear thermal expansion (the degree of expansion and contraction due to temperature changes) is as small as that of glass fibers, and its elasticity is higher than that of glass fibers (meaning it is hard and durable), giving it excellent properties. Additionally, being plant-derived, it has a low environmental impact similar to paper and is a material with excellent recyclability. It can be made from almost all wood biomass resources available on Earth, making it a very abundant material. With such a variety of excellent characteristics, this fiber is gaining attention as a next-generation large-scale industrial material or green nano material, and active research and development have been conducted in recent years. [Features] - Lightweight and strong - Transparency - Low thermal expansion coefficient - Abundant material resources - Low material cost - Recyclable and highly biodegradable *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. *If you would like a paid sample, please inquire.
