Flexible shaft
A torque transmission shaft that combines flexibility and strength (made to order).
For rotational transmission, a steel wire or piano wire is tightly wound in the opposite direction with thin inner lines as shown in the diagram, providing flexibility and strength to transmit torque. Hollow types can also be manufactured. Even if the shaft is cut, it will not unwind due to the anti-rebound treatment.
