"Gold foil (GRF)" is made from a lightweight material used in the aerospace industry. This 0.15mm thick foil is backed with fiberglass using a fire-resistant adhesive to maintain strength and tear resistance, and this adhesive meets the appropriate level for fire resistance as per the 12-second vertical burn test by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
