The Klaran WR (WR2-24V-2U-B1) is a compact UVC LED water sterilization module equipped with Klaran WD (Asahi Kasei's sterilization UVC LED) that can be installed in water servers and water purifiers. The UVC LED does not use mercury, making it environmentally friendly, and it can sterilize without using chemicals, preserving the taste and smell of drinking water. By incorporating the highly effective Klaran WD (which has a wavelength of 265nm, providing higher sterilization efficacy compared to 280nm), it enables the establishment of a system that supplies safer and more secure drinking water. The use of mercury lamps in the market is being regulated, and there may be potential cost increases and supply issues in the future.
