Fibocom 5G RedCap Module (FG132-GL)

The FG132 series is a high-performance wireless communication module for 5G Redcap Sub-6 GHz. This series supports the 3GPP R17 RedCap technology, with a maximum downlink speed of 223 Mbps and a maximum uplink speed of 123 Mbps in 5G RedCap networks. In LTE networks, the maximum downlink speed is 195 Mbps and the maximum uplink speed is 105 Mbps. The FG132 has various sub-models, with GL for global communication operators' frequency bands and NA for North American operators. It supports 5G SA networks and backward compatibility with 4G, addressing the requirements for 5G private networks and slicing. The FG132 features a compact LGA package measuring 32*29*2.4mm and shares a compatible PIN layout with Fibocom's NL668 series Cat 4 and MC116 series Cat 1 modules, facilitating seamless 5G/4G product compatibility design. It is positioned for the mid-speed IoT market, including industrial gateways, security monitoring, fixed wireless access terminals, vehicle installations, and energy applications.
