The P318 is a strapping machine manufactured by FROMM that performs the processes of tightening, welding, and cutting using the power of Li-ion (lithium-ion batteries) for plastic bands. Equipped with a rechargeable battery, it can perform strapping tasks independently and does not require a specific work location. The tightening force is up to 800N. It accommodates plastic bands with a width of 8 to 16mm and a thickness of 0.35 to 0.8mm. It can use the widely used PP band (15.5mm width), making it suitable for light packaging such as cardboard boxes.
