The vibration-damping rubber Super D, developed, designed, and manufactured by Trelleborg AVS, is specifically designed to be used in the most severe conditions. Super D can withstand significant deflection and is designed to be unaffected by that deflection, primarily used for large marine engines. All Super D products are assigned a serial number to ensure traceability, and a certificate of conformity, which records the serial number and test deflection, is attached. They are delivered to the customer's specified location in export pallet-type wooden packaging. Super D has received type certification from the prestigious classification society Lloyd's Register of Shipping. Many navies around the world, including the UK's state-of-the-art aircraft carrier II, have adopted this Super D for many years to protect engines and other critical components from vibration. The basic color is black for the metal and red for the rubber, but we can accommodate your preferred color combinations based on European RAL color specifications upon request. After receiving the drawings of the equipment to be installed from the customer, we will propose and estimate the recommended products from the manufacturer.
