This is a vibration-damping rubber suitable for suppressing vibrations and noise generated during the engine start-up and operation of small pleasure boats, fishing boats, transportation equipment, and general machinery. Trelleborg AVS's vibration-damping rubber "Cushifloat" is also available as custom orders tailored to engine specifications beyond catalog standards. There are four types: small, medium, large, and heavy-duty, with rubber hardness options of 45°, 55°, and 65° for small, 45°, 55°, 65°, and 75° for medium and large, and 40°, 50°, 60°, and 70° for heavy-duty. The rubber part is covered with plated metal to protect it from oil stains and other contaminants. The medium type (model number 17-1609) is particularly popular. In principle, products are manufactured in the UK after an order is placed, but for some products, there may be limited stock available in the UK or China (Wuxi).
