The Novibra brand SAW mount is a cylindrical rubber section equipped with two square, sturdy metal plates and an integrally bonded metal interleaf plate on the outside. It is designed to provide a low shear stiffness while generating significant compressive force with minimal deformation. The combination of a stable low installation height, high compressive strength, and low shear stiffness makes the SAW mount a versatile high-performance vibration-damping rubber. By connecting two SAW elements in series, that is, stacking them on top of each other, high separation efficiency is achieved in both shear and compression. If greater deflection is required within the vertical plane, the SAW mount is installed with a calculated angular configuration to provide the optimal spring rate. Rubber hardness options are available in 40 degrees and 60 degrees. The product is primarily produced in the UK, but we may also import products made in China.
