This is a vibration-damping rubber suitable for suppressing vibrations and noise generated during the engine start-up and operation of small pleasure boats, fishing boats, transportation equipment, and general machinery. Trelleborg AVS's vibration-damping rubber "Cushifloat" is available as custom orders tailored to engine specifications beyond catalog standards. There are four types: small, medium, large, and heavy-duty, with rubber hardness options of 45°, 55°, and 65° for small, and 45°, 55°, 65°, and 75° for medium and large, while heavy-duty offers options of 40°, 50°, 60°, and 70°. The rubber parts are covered with plated metal to protect against oil contamination. The medium type (model number 17-1609) is the best seller. In principle, manufacturing takes place in the UK after an order is received, but for some products, there may be limited stock available in the UK or China (Wuxi).
