This is a vibration-damping rubber suitable for suppressing vibrations and noise generated during the starting and operation of small pleasure boats, fishing boats, transportation equipment, and general machinery engines. Trelleborg AVS's vibration mount "Cushifloat" can also accommodate custom orders based on engine specifications beyond catalog standards. There are four types: small, medium, large, and heavy-duty, with rubber hardness options of 45°, 55°, and 65° for small, and 45°, 55°, 65°, and 75° for medium and large, while heavy-duty options are available in 40°, 50°, 60°, and 70°. The rubber parts are covered with plated metal to protect against oil stains and other contaminants. The medium type (model number 17-1609) is particularly popular. In principle, manufacturing takes place in the UK after an order is received, but depending on the part number, there may be limited stock available at the UK factory.
