Typically, workers wrap sealing tape around the threaded parts of joints and screw components, but this task of wrapping hundreds or thousands of pieces requires considerable time and effort. Additionally, there are disadvantages such as variations in quality depending on the skill level of the workers. The founder of Taihei Kasei noticed that if a sealing agent was applied from the beginning instead of tape, many of these issues could be resolved, and aimed to develop a product accordingly.
