The "SMD601" is a multi-zone metal detector specially designed to comply with the new NIJ standard - 0601.02 (U.S. Department of Justice). It is pre-equipped with the three security levels specified by the standard (large, medium, and small object sizes), which can be easily selected directly by the user through the control unit.
