We would like to introduce an example of utilizing PLC communication in centralized meter reading proposed by our company. Even in environments with long wiring lengths, it is possible to expand the communication area to the end of the facility through hopping technology. Additionally, due to the ample communication speed, it can be utilized not only for remote meter reading functions but also for more detailed applications such as HEMS. The PLC communication standards include "low-speed PLC," which superimposes low-frequency signals (up to 450 KHz), and "high-speed PLC," which superimposes high-frequency signals (2 to 28 MHz).
