Electronic component "insert nut"

There are two types of insert nuts: screw-in type and press-in type.

At Hiroseki Instrument Co., Ltd., we handle two types of "insert nuts": screw-in type and press-fit type. The "screw-in type" is an embedded nut used for reinforcing or repairing screw holes in materials such as plastic, light metals, and steel plates. It can also be utilized for reprocessing defective female threads in plastic, light metals, steel plates, and products through tapping. When the strength of the female thread is weak and cannot provide sufficient tightening force during tapping, inserting this nut allows for reliable screw fastening. The "press-fit type" is an insert used after resin molding, which is inserted into a formed hole during molding using press-fit or heat press methods to create threads. *We also handle "insert collars" (for press-fit and simultaneous molding). 【Screw-in Type Insert Nut Features】 ○ Machined with high precision on NC automatic lathes, ensuring stable quality after insertion. ○ Easy for anyone to insert, resulting in high-strength female threads in a short time. ○ Using a locking mechanism during insertion increases the fixing strength of the product, allowing for reliable screw fastening. ○ Fixed by screwing into a pre-tapped hole using an insertion tool.
