This product is a spring washer made of austenitic stainless steel "SUS316L," which has excellent corrosion resistance. SUS316L is a low-carbon specification material suitable for applications where consideration for intergranular corrosion at welds and other areas is required. It is used by being sandwiched between the head of a bolt or screw and the counterpart material. By utilizing the spring's rebound force (elastic force) generated when the bolt is tightened, it applies pressure to the joint, helping to prevent loosening of the bolt and nut due to vibrations and impacts. Additionally, SUS316L contains molybdenum (Mo), making it a material with superior corrosion resistance compared to SUS304. Leveraging its low-carbon specification for intergranular corrosion resistance and excellent corrosion resistance, this spring washer is suitable for fastening various equipment and enclosures that require consideration for corrosive environments, such as chemical equipment and marine-related devices.
