Ultrasonic flow meters only require the installation of detectors on the outside of the piping, eliminating the need for pipe modifications. This significantly reduces construction costs and greatly shortens the time required for installation. Additionally, they allow for non-contact measurement and can measure corrosive fluids. Fluids such as food are also hygienic. Main Features: - Suitable for measuring fluids with foreign substances or bubbles that cannot be measured by the time-of-flight method. - Fluid measurement using the Doppler effect: When ultrasonic waves are transmitted to impurities or bubbles mixed in the fluid within the pipe, the frequency changes due to the movement speed of the particles, creating a frequency difference. The flow rate is calculated from this frequency difference. - Cannot measure clean fluids without impurities or bubbles. ■ Usage Precautions: - The pipe must be completely filled with water. - Measurement cannot be performed if there are bubbles or floating substances like debris in the fluid. Please consult us if you plan to use it with lined pipes or similar applications. - Install the indicator (converter) in a location not exposed to direct sunlight. - Consult us if there are power lines or railways near the installation site. - If installed in an area prone to lightning, please use lightning protection devices.
