Notice of Participation in the Environmental Event "Earth Hour 2024" [HIWIN]

We will participate in the international environmental event "Earth Hour 2024" as part of our social contribution activities within the Hiwin Group. This event is the world's largest environmental action, where people around the globe turn off their lights at the same time on the same day to demonstrate their commitment to preventing global warming and preserving the environment. This initiative will also take place at Hiwin Group locations and factories in 17 locations worldwide, including Japan, where we plan to turn off the lighting at our Kobe headquarters and Kobe logistics center. We will actively encourage employees to participate by turning off the lights at home as well. Our company is promoting ESG initiatives across the group, and we are also working on reducing CO2 emissions in our business activities in Japan. Additionally, supporting the reduction of environmental impact in our users' operations, such as promoting electrification from hydraulic and pneumatic systems, is one of our environmental activities.
