Announcement of Obtaining Certification for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Business [Specific Initiatives Part 1]

We are pleased to announce that our company has obtained the "SDGs Business Certification" issued by the Japan SDGs Association. Our efforts towards achieving five of the 17 goals promoted by the SDGs have earned us the "SDGs Business Certification." We will introduce the specific initiatives over three communications. Goal 3: "Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages" We promote collaborative projects with relevant research institutions and industry organizations to establish effective surveillance and control measures for infectious diseases (primarily dengue fever, malaria, chikungunya, etc., transmitted by mosquitoes) and specific invasive alien species (such as fire ants and Argentine ants). ● What are the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)? The SDGs are international goals outlined in the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development," adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015. ● What is the "SDGs Business Certification"? The SDGs Business Certification is a system established by the Japan SDGs Association, which evaluates the efforts of various companies and organizations towards the SDGs as a private third party, protecting their credibility.
