Honey Kasei has applied its long-developed electrodeposition coating technology to heat-resistant resins and has developed a heat-resistant electrodeposition resin solution. By electrodepositing polyimide-based resins, it is possible to form a coating with excellent adhesion and heat resistance. It achieves excellent surface resistance (greater than 1×10¹⁶Ω), significantly enhancing electrical insulation performance. The superior edge covering capability of electrodeposition coating reduces the risk of localized insulation breakdown and leakage current due to insufficient film thickness, even in complex shapes and sharp edges.
