Typically, sponge products made from extrusion molding using a linear hot air vulcanization device always form a skin layer on the surface during molding with high-temperature hot air. "Skinless sponge" is a groundbreaking product that overturns this basic concept. Despite lacking a skin layer, its unique foaming structure results in low water absorption, as well as effective thermal insulation and soundproofing properties, and it excels in shock absorption. Additionally, because conventional sponge products have a skin layer, drilling holes with tools like drills can cause them to wrap around, requiring pre-punching before drilling. However, due to the absence of a skin layer, processing can be done directly with drills, allowing for cost reductions in processing.
