There is a cellulose filter primarily used for capturing liquid mist and a sintered metal filter used for capturing powders. With these two types of high-performance filters, it is possible to capture over 98% of particles larger than 1μ, providing protection for dry vacuum pumps that are particularly sensitive to foreign particles.
