[Case Study] Realization of Electronic Inspection Reports and Improved Searchability at a Telecommunications Equipment Manufacturer
3,000 sheets per month + complete digitization of 3 million past inspection reports. Introducing a case of improved searchability achieved through automatic QR code sorting!
We would like to introduce a case study of our "PscanServePlus" implemented at a telecommunications equipment manufacturer. By combining the digitization of inspection reports received externally with automatic QR code sorting and full-text OCR search, we successfully streamlined the processing of 3,000 new documents monthly and the management of 3 million past documents. We moved away from physical storage in three warehouses and established an easy-to-use digitization system utilizing Excel macros and QR codes. This significantly reduced search times for complaint handling and manufacturing processes, resulting in improved operational efficiency. 【Implementation Overview】 ■ Client: Telecommunications Equipment Manufacturer (Department: Quality Assurance) Volume of Documents: 3,000 new documents generated monthly + 3 million past documents stored in warehouses ■ Implementation Effects: - Significantly improved the searchability of documents previously stored across three warehouses - Achieved an easy electronic operation accessible to anyone through Excel macros and QR codes - Reduced the search time for reference data during complaint handling significantly with full-text OCR search - Simultaneously eliminated task dependency and prevented storage errors *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.
