Mail ⇔ RS-232C Transfer Service iND MIST 2
A serial transfer service that enables control of remote RS-232C devices by sending an email to a specified email address.
"iND MIST2" is a service that converts data from terminal devices such as RS-232C equipment into TCP/IP using our LTE-compatible communication terminal, and sends it to our data center, from where it is sent via email to a dedicated email address for the terminal. By connecting our "iND MIST2 compatible products" to RS-232C equipment, customers can receive data from RS-232C devices as emails on mobile devices such as mobile phones and smartphones, or on email software on their office computers.

■ Excellent cost performance The communication line on the terminal side uses NTT Docomo's LTE packet communication and connects to our "iND MIST2 compatible products." ■ High reliability Communication between the communication terminal and the data center is conducted over a closed LTE network, ensuring high security. ■ No need for a provider contract There is no need to prepare a separate provider contract or email address. * In addition to the contract for "iND MIST2," a data communication plan such as the "IoT Plan" is required. ■ Up to 10 registered email addresses for sending and receiving You can register up to 10 email addresses for sending and receiving. ■ Life check function This function regularly sends pings to the communication terminal at intervals of as short as 1 hour to 1 day. ■ Web-based configuration changes You can configure settings related to your contracted terminal via the web by yourself. ■ Email reception data transfer function (optional) You can send content written in the body of an email from registered email addresses to the terminal device. By enabling this optional feature, bidirectional communication between email and data is possible.

The digital information of electric power and other data from high-voltage smart meters used in factories and large-scale business establishments is collected in real-time via Route B and sent to a cloud server. By utilizing application software on the server side, we will build an energy management system that visualizes power consumption and monitors demand. ■ System Configuration The system consists of an IoT gateway "LXG-600" that acquires power data in accordance with the ECHONET Lite standard from high-voltage smart meters and can communicate via FTP/MQTTS over the LTE network, a 4G-compatible mobile communication network, and IoT platforms such as AWS along with power monitoring applications. When controlling on-site air conditioning units and outdoor units using demand values, device control via the MQTTS protocol is possible.
