The compact and versatile modular design of Moxa's EDS-611 series Ethernet switches provides a switching solution that allows users to combine fiber and copper modules to adapt to various automation networks. The modular design of the EDS-611 can enhance the reliability and availability of industrial Ethernet networks by installing up to 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 8 Fast Ethernet ports, advanced Turbo Chain and Turbo Ring (recovery time <20ms) technologies, and RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1w/D). The modules can offer models that support a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C. The EDS-611 series supports reliable intelligent features such as IEEE1588 PTP, Modbus/TCP, LLDP, DHCP Option 82, SNMP inform, QoS, IGMP snooping, VLAN, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH, and SNMPv3, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.
