The EDS-G509 is equipped with nine Gigabit Ethernet ports and up to five fiber optic ports, making it ideal for upgrading existing networks to Gigabit speeds or building a new full Gigabit backbone. Gigabit transmission enables high-performance bandwidth expansion, allowing for the fast transfer of large amounts of video, audio, and data across the network. Turbo Ring redundant Ethernet and RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1w/D) enhance system reliability and the utility of the network backbone.
