The EDS-405A/408A-PN is a PROFINET-compatible industrial 5 and 8-port managed Ethernet switch designed to universally support all applications within the factory with a single bus. The PN switch, which incorporates PROFINET, can be easily integrated with the Simatic Step 7 engineering tool. Automation engineers will find it more convenient to configure through Step 7 and monitor using automation HMI. The EDS-405A/408A-PN switch, which supports fast boot, Turbo Ring, and Turbo Chain first recovery technology, can optimize PROFINET network performance. Moxa's PROFINET switches support various management features such as IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, port mirroring, SNMP, bandwidth management, and alerts via email or relay.
