Moxa 7+3G Port Gigabit Managed Ethernet Switch
The EDS-510A is a managed Ethernet switch for industrial automation and control applications, supporting the first industrial protocol version 6 in the market based on the IPv6 Ready Logo program (an international functional certification program indicating that IPv6-enabled devices can communicate with each other using IPv6). What has been certified by the IPv6 Ready Logo program means that the EDS-510A fully complies with the core protocols of the IPv6 directive and is compatible with other IPv6 devices. IPv6 was developed to address the global shortage of IP addresses and provides 128-bit addresses to support point-to-point and bidirectional communication without hindering network traffic. Moxa is working to expand IPv6 across all its Ethernet switch products in the near future. By adopting the next-generation Internet protocol in the EDS-510A, industrial Ethernet networks can offer automatic IP address configuration, the highest level of security, and built-in QoS.
