[Case Study] ETC System Communication Transmission Load

This is an example of reducing the network transmission load of the ETC system on toll roads!

The ETC system is composed of I/O devices, sensors, IP cameras, and Ethernet switches. When a vehicle enters a toll road, the ID scanner installed on the gantry detects the transponder mounted on the vehicle and sends the ID information to the data center via a switch. If a vehicle that does not support ETC enters the toll road, the sensors will begin toll collection by capturing the license plate of the relevant vehicle with the camera installed on the gantry and sending the image to the control center. In the ETC system, where thousands of vehicles pass under each gantry daily, there was a need to reduce the transmission load on the network between the gantry and the control center. [Case Study] ■ Industry Implemented: Transportation (ETC System) ■ Purpose of Implementation: Reduction of communication transmission load ■ Products Implemented: IKS-6728A, ioLogik2500, ioLogikE2200, VPort 36-1MP *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
