[Case Study] Power Plant Data Transmission

This is a case where a Modbus gateway was introduced to ensure a continuous power supply!

Many industrial facilities are equipped with their own generators to ensure a stable power supply. In one facility, there was a need to transmit large volumes of Modbus RTU monitoring information from power RTUs, electronic devices, and power meters to a SCADA system operating over a Modbus TCP network via a network when monitoring a small generator. This required the introduction of a gateway suitable for industrial applications. As a result of implementing the "MGate MB3170/3270," it became possible to easily wire multiple Modbus gateways in a cascade connection due to the dual Ethernet ports. [Case Study] ■ Industry: Power Generation Facility ■ Purpose of Implementation: Transmission of large-capacity monitoring data ■ Product Implemented: MGate MB3170/3270 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
