UPort 1000 Series
USB serial converter that enables communication between devices equipped with USB ports and RS-232C serial interfaces.
The UPort 1000 series industrial USB to serial converters enable communication between devices equipped with a USB port, standard on laptops and workstations, and an RS-232C serial interface. Currently, laptops and workstations do not come with the serial interface ports that traditionally included COM ports or DB9 connectors. Instead, they are equipped with USB ports. As a result, direct connections to devices with serial interface ports are not possible. The USB to serial converter solves this problem.

The UPort 1000 series also performs convergence from USB to RS-232C/422/485 USB. All products are compatible with traditional serial devices and are ideal for measurement instruments and POS applications.
