The EDS-G4014 series is equipped with 8 gigabit Ethernet ports and 6 2.5Gbps fiber optic ports, making it an ideal product for upgrading existing networks to gigabit speeds or for building new full gigabit backbones. The gigabit transmission speed increases bandwidth for higher performance, allowing for the rapid transfer of large amounts of triple-play services (transmitting voice, video, and data) over the network. Redundant Ethernet technologies such as Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and RSTP/STP enhance system reliability and improve the availability of the network backbone. The EDS-G4014 series is specifically designed for demanding applications that require a scalable backbone, such as video surveillance, process monitoring, ITS, and DCS systems.
