[Case Study] Sake "Aroma" Sensing System
One of the product characteristics of alcohol is its "aroma." To visualize it, we have broken down the aroma into multiple elements.
To visualize scents, we have broken them down into multiple elements. The area concerning "odors" lacks established basic units or fundamental elements. By mimicking human olfaction, we attempted to visualize a variety of odors using a combination of multiple odor sensors through various methods. ◆ Applicable Products - Ideal IoT System ◆◆ Features - We perform complex judgments by combining multiple odor (gas) sensors. - We are working on sensing and datafication of the ambiguous subject of "odor." - Stable data collection is possible even in factories with a lot of metal objects, thanks to LoRaWAN. - Data is automatically accumulated in Google Spreadsheet, with graphs and judgment results displayed. ◆◆◆ Effects - We propose solutions even for objects that are difficult to quantify. - We quantify the ambiguous concept of odor using relatively easy methods. - Data is accumulated in Google Spreadsheet (equivalent to Excel), making data reuse easy.
