Mixed gas for medium and thick plate welding "Hiacom"

Gas that increases arc heat quantity by adding helium to medium-thick plates of soft steel used in bridges and shipbuilding.

"Hiacom" has excellent arc stability from medium to high current. In cases using the "Law-θ welding method," a combination of solid wires achieves deep penetration and a reduction in spatter generation. It is possible to significantly shorten construction time in welding medium-thick plates, such as those used in construction machinery. [Features] - Arc stability in the medium to high current range - Flat bead with minimal excess - Deep penetration - High-speed welding capability *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

basic information

**Effects of Various Shielding Gases** ■ Argon: Excellent arc stability, base gas for shielding gas ■ Carbon Dioxide: Good solubility but generates a lot of spatter ■ Oxygen: Promotes droplet detachment due to thermal pinch effect ■ Helium: Increases arc heat, improving solubility and speed ■ Hydrogen: High arc concentration, enhancing solubility and speed *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
