Utilization of IO-Link for Diverse Industrial Network Compatibility - GD Series
Collects process and diagnostic information from IO-Link devices to support the visualization of equipment.
The IO-Link Master GD series connects to IO-Link compatible sensors/actuators and is designed to acquire and utilize process data, parameters, and diagnostic information. By linking the acquired data to higher-level systems, it supports the visualization of equipment status and the enhancement of maintenance practices. The unit is equipped with a function to back up settings for each sensor, allowing for quick recovery during equipment replacement with just a swap and startup, contributing to reduced downtime. Additionally, it achieves approximately half the size of a typical IO-Link master (8ch) (W110×D31.4×H63mm) and promotes space-saving within the device with its 16ch configuration. Furthermore, by using the software Wave Inspire Hub, it enables automatic searching, downloading, and assignment of IODD files from over 100 vendors through Omron's unique easy connection feature. Sensors installed in hard-to-reach locations can also be configured from a PC tool, aiding in the efficiency of starting up and configuring IO-Link devices.
