Innodisk solves the issues related to data retention of SSDs at high temperatures.
Flash memory is a non-volatile storage medium. This means that the data on an SSD (Solid State Drive) is retained without the need for power. However, there are several factors that can lead to data loss or degradation. Data retention time: Temperature & P/E cycles High temperatures and frequent program (write)/erase (P/E) cycles can both have a significant impact on data retention. All cells in flash memory hold negative charges that represent binary (base-2) values (for example, 01, 10, etc.). These cells are generally very good at retaining this charge, but some of it is leaking now. Error correction codes are usually very effective at retrieving this and solving the problem. However, in high-temperature environments, the rate of leakage increases. Tests have shown that the data retention of standard MLC flash decreases by 168 times when transitioning from 40°C to 85°C. .......For more information, please refer to the PDF file.

Innodisk announces the world's first ultra-fast wide temperature range compatible DDR4 2666 memory to capitalize on opportunities in intelligent edge computing, uniquely adopting comprehensive anti-sulfation as a standard in the industry, defining advanced industrial control models.
April 26, 2018, Taipei, Taiwan – In response to the growing demand for intelligent devices, the application markets for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), gateways, and edge computing are performing well globally. To meet the enormous demand from the global market, Innodisk, a leading brand in worldwide industrial control, announces the industry's first DDR4 2666 industrial memory with ultra-high-speed computing at 2666MT/s and industrial-grade wide temperature range support (-40°C to 85°C). Additionally, as contamination from sulfides becomes increasingly serious, while the industry generally offers anti-sulfation as a custom value-added service, Innodisk announced that it will introduce anti-sulfation as a standard specification for DDR4 starting in June this year.

Is the solution to the frame loss problem a challenge for the surveillance security market?
Innodisk announces its patented firmware technology RECLineTM, which ensures video quality and addresses challenges in smart city and smart factory applications. March 22, 2018, Taipei – According to market research reports, the global surveillance security market is expected to grow at a rate of 17%, reaching a market size of $80 billion by 2024. However, as the market rapidly expands, end video devices face many technical challenges that need improvement, with one of the most common technical issues being frame loss. When frame loss occurs, it not only affects security but also poses a barrier to the video application market due to technical defects in hardware. *For more details, please refer to the attached document.
