basic information

An SSD can write to pages that make up a block, but deletion can only be done at the block level. The basic operation of garbage collection involves copying the data in use to a new block and deleting all data from the old block. By using the TRIM command, the number of operations required for garbage collection can be minimized, alleviating concerns about unnecessarily overworking the SSD. - Please download to see the continuation -
